Favorite Color Combo

For Tag Tuesday, Chrissie has chosen the theme of "Favorite Color Combination". She is offering a really cute prize - a darling little owl she made. Check it out here. Create a tag using your favorite colors, link it up at Tag Tuesday and you may win!!

Here is a favorite color combo of mine - yellow, pink and blue. The tag is made from a scrap of yellow paper, pink teacup cut from a Tim Holtz die and stickers.

In a Mermaid's Garden

Hi, I have three cards to share that I made using Gecko Galz products. Our customer challenge theme for this month is all about mermaids. There is still time to join us and possibly win a prize! Just click here and you will be linked to all the contest details.

My first card features a lovely GG mermaid image that I printed and then fussy cut. The oval shape is die cut from Fizzy Water which is from the By the Shore paper pack. Striped paper from the Sea Side paper pack was used for the background. The corners were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The seahorse and coral were printed and then fussy cut from Sea Side Icons. All the pieces were layered onto a white card base.

Next I made two travel themed cards. The first is Amsterdam. Using the Roads Less Traveled collage set, I enlarged the Amsterdam image and adhered it to a red card base. The Dutch girl is from the Little Ladies from Around the World collage set. I die cut her and offset her onto the card. Finally, I added the words "Wish You Were Here", which is a wooden sticker from my stash.

For the second travel themed card I printed the Greece image from the Roads Less Traveled set and then layered it onto the Greece paper from the Great Adventure paper pack. Those two pieces were attached to cardboard and then a white card base. The final touch was the Greek statue (which I sized and fussy cut) from the Apothecary Labels collage set.

Back again...

with another Cake tag to share! When I was a child, my father used to sing these words - "If I knew you were coming, I'd have baked a cake." He sang those words over and over. I thought he made it up. The other day I looked online and found out that it's an actual song from the 1950's!! It was really popular then.

I used background paper from Gecko Galz on the tag. It's called "Take the Cake" from the Kitchy Kool paper set. I added yellow Stickles to the candle flames. I printed out the words and then outlined around them with a blue gel pen. The heart is from my stash. The edges of the tag were inked with brown chalk ink.

It's Tuesday...

and time for a new challenge at Tag Tuesday. The theme for the next 2 weeks has been chosen by Wilma and it's "Cake". Here is a tag I made, using a cake I cut from a Daphne's Diary calendar. The image is Marie Antoinette (from Gecko Galz). It was die cut and layered over a blue Doodlebug doily.

Happy July!!

I picked the theme "The Beach" for Tag Tuesday's challenge this time. Here are the tags I made.

My first tag is made with Gecko Galz images for the background and the little boy. I stamped the anchor in blue, the edges of the tag in brown, added brown ribbon and a Tim Holtz phrase sticker.

The second tag has a background made with Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the seaweed with Ranger Archival ink. The fish was stamped and then fussy cut. Both the crab die cut and the fish were pop dotted to the tag. Finally, I stamped bubbles coming out of the fish's mouth.

Please join us and link a Beach tag to Tag Tuesday. We'd love to have you!
