Tag Tuesday & Make My Monday - new challenges

Hi, today I'd like to share a tag I made for Tag Tuesday. The theme for the next 2 weeks is "Spring Flowers". I covered a tag with paper from Moxxie. Then I stamped flowers (Stampin' Up) onto purple and light blue cardstock. I used the matching punch to cut out the flowers and pop dotted them to the tag. Next, I added some greenery, using a Tim Holtz die. Finally I tied some blue ribbon at the top.

It's a great theme and we hope you will make a tag and link it up at Tag Tuesday.

Next up is a card for Make My Monday. The theme is "Birds" and was chosen by me! We'd love to have you link up a project featuring birds, eggs, nests and/or feathers.

My card features a bird stamp by Stampin' Up. I used the SU markers to color directly onto the stamp. I stamped the image onto white cardstock and then cut it out with a scalloped oval die. I added a slightly larger red oval and the word hello (Sizzix) cut in blue.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Love tag

Hi and oops! I forgot to put the tag I made for Gecko Galz in my post yesterday. Anyway here it is.

The background paper on the tag is from the "Oh Cupid" mini paper pack. The blue doily is cut from the Tropical Flower paper (la isla bonita paper pack). The pink heart is cut from the Love Potion #9 paper pack. The couple is from Retro love story collage sheet. I added a wooden embellishment to the tag.

Have a great day!

Bluebird of Happiness

Hi, today I want to share some cards I made for Gecko Galz. First up are two cards made with images from the Bluebird of Happiness collage set. When I saw these two very regal bluebirds, I knew exactly what I wanted my cards to look like.

I used a white card base for each one, using a Martha Stewart corner punch on the bottom corners. The bluebirds were sized in Photoshop, fussy cut and then I added jewels to the crowns. I layered the birds onto a red heart doily and a scalloped heart which was die cut from the Love Potion #9 papers (paper #2). The heart die is by Spellbinders. Finally, I added the gold hearts from my stash.

I also have another card to share, featuring a cute little girl image from the Lovely Little Valentines collage sheet. I sized the image, fussy cut it and then layered it onto a bingo card from the Bits & Pieces collage set. The background is paper #6 from the Love Potion #9 set. Finally, I die cut a white heart (Spellbinders) and layered a smaller pink heart onto it. The card base is white.

Thanks for stopping by! Please don't forget about the Gecko Galz customer challenge for this month - Vintage Valentines. Use at least one GG product in your card to be entered for a prize. Get all the details on the Gecko Galz blog.

Tag Tuesday

Hi, I'm here with a tag and some news about Tag Tuesday. It is now a challenge blog with a new theme every two weeks! You can join in and link your tag to Tag Tuesday.

The new theme is "Bookworm". For my tag I used Brainiac papers by Moxxie. I fussy cut the owl and pop dotted him to the tag, added some Doodlebug enamel dots, an enamel heart and fibers.

I hope you will join us in the launch of the new Tag Tuesday blog. We'd be delighted to see your Bookworm tags - link up and join the fun!
