Things with Wings

It's Monday and time for a new theme at Make My Monday! This week we are hoping you will join us with a project that has wings. My winged creature is the bee.

My tag was cut from a piece of watercolor paper that I covered with gelatos. The image of the Spring lady is a Character Construction stamp by Catherine Moore. She was colored with chalks and cut with the matching CC die. I then stamped two more bees onto the tag. Don't you love her beeskep hat!?

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!!

Tea or Coffee

Our theme this week at Make My Monday is Tea or Coffee. The theme was picked by me. I love coffee - but ended up making two tea projects!

First is an Alice in Wonderland tea party tag. I used Graphic 45 paper for the background of a large Ranger manila tag. All the other embellishments and the image are from my stash.

My second project is a card. The background paper is from Basic Grey and the teacups are a new Tim Holtz die. I just love these teacups!!

We hope you will join us at Make My Monday and link up your tea or coffee project. Thanks for stopping by! Now I'm off to get a cup of coffee!

It's Monday.....

Make My Monday, that is! And our theme this week is Leaves or Trees. Here is my take on the theme.

I used an old piece of BoBunny paper to cover a tag. I inked the edges with brown chalk ink and fussy cut the tree from paper by Catherine Moore. Next, I adhered the tree to the tag and added these cute animal stickers and flowers. Then I glued on the wood veneer piece and my tag was complete!

Please join us at Make My Monday - we'd love to have you link up your project! Also, check out the beautiful work by my fellow dt members.

Moxxie May Blog Hop - New Spring Lines

Hey! It's May and a beautiful time of year to share with you our 2015 Spring Releases! Make sure you read to the bottom to find out how to WIN one of these fantastic NEW lines!!

I used the new All Star Baseball line for a scrapbook page I made. This new Moxxie line is perfect for both baseball and patriotic projects! The b sides of the baseball papers are red, white and blue with stripes and stars.

The page I made shows Rocco (my great-nephew) and his Dad at a Colorado Rockies baseball game. Since the photo was taken at a baseball stadium, there were lots of people in the picture that I didn't want on my page. To eliminate the extra people, I cut around Rocco's dad on one side and placed the large baseball sticker above Rocco's cap.

I began with a black cardstock base, a layer of red cardstock and the b side of Home Run. I then added a piece from the b side of All Star Cutouts. I added the large baseball, word stickers and the baseball mitt (which I fussy cut) from the sticker sheet. The red "All Star" strip is from the cutouts sheet. Lastly, I glued on a wooden hashtag veneer from my stash.
