GPP Street Team

It's Crusade No. 52 at GPP. Artist Michelle Ward has issued a challenge this month that asks - do you change the colors you use in your artwork when the seasons change?? Does your art reflect the change in season??

I love colors - all colors! - but my go-to color palette is orange and blue with a touch of white and/or dark brown. I use this during any season, just because I love it so much!!
I created a little collage piece with my favorite colors. I used paint, stamping, rub-ons, tape and ephemera from my stash.

Joan - love seeing your favorite palette! It's been interesting to see that several crusaders are showing their go-to colors and not just their seasonal selections. Thanks for sharing with the team!!

I guess that some colours are just so good that you use them anytime during the year! ;-)

First of all, the dog in your header - what a little honey :-) Love the page you've shared, the colors are lovely. I don't use orange much, but when I do I love it.

Lovely layout. I don't use orange very often so thanks for encouraging me to give it a go soon!

I LOVE this piece you're showing here, with its awesome little catalog drawers :) Thank you for showing! I worked in blue and orange once, and I've been thinking I need to revisit that palette. This post is really inspiring me towards it now :)

What a great use of lace--and those little drawers make for strong design. That touch of orange really sparks up the page and gives it a modern feel. Isn't Michelle great to make us think about how we are working?
