Spring!

Yes, it's here. I heard the spring peepers in the pond tonight when we were taking Chiquita for a walk. When I hear them, I know that Spring has arrived.
This picture was in our local newspaper and I thought the colors were so pretty that I had to share it!

Green layout

No, it's not green for St. Patrick's Day, but for the Create It - Green design team reveal!! Check out the team's wonderful layouts, cards and altered projects.
Here is my layout, titled "Lovebirds". The photo is my grandparents. "Green items" are the wallpaper background and flowers pulled off an old hat.

Bird egg tutorial

I have painted wooden bird eggs for a few years now. They are quick to create. The eggs come in various sizes and are fun to add to cards, layouts, mixed media work and also wear as a charm.
