4th of July

One of my favorite holidays is 4th of July!! I love everything about it - fireworks, a picnic at my sister's and the colors: red, white and blue is one of my favorite combos! I'm posting a few patriotic projects of mine.

Ice Cream Social

This is my layout for the Ice Cream Social Crop being held June 25 @ Scrapping the Moments. The journaling is on the tag and reads:
"Mel & I went to Chagrin Falls and stopped into the Popcorn Shop. I discovered the most wonderful ice cream there - butter pecan cashew. Talk about yummy!! This is my new favorite ice cream!"

Exciting news!!!

I am a Gecko Gal!!! Yippee - I get to work with a great bunch of women and use fantastic product!! Next week, I will begin creating and I Can Hardly Wait!!!

GPP Street Team

It's Crusade No. 52 at GPP. Artist Michelle Ward has issued a challenge this month that asks - do you change the colors you use in your artwork when the seasons change?? Does your art reflect the change in season??

I love colors - all colors! - but my go-to color palette is orange and blue with a touch of white and/or dark brown. I use this during any season, just because I love it so much!!
I created a little collage piece with my favorite colors. I used paint, stamping, rub-ons, tape and ephemera from my stash.

My Graduate

This layout shows Megan in a picture from her high school graduation (2007) and now, four years later, her college graduation. I'm very proud of her!!

Summer is Here!!

First official day of summer vacation for me! Summer - lazy days full of possibilities...
