Recipe binder
I bought this binder for $3.00. I knew it would be great to hold my recipe layouts for the Creative Cookbooking design team.
The binder had no decoration on it, so I added my own! I used Thickers, flowers, chocolate chip cookie pin (from My Little Bit of Whimsy) and a chef. I love looking for bargains and "fixing them up"!!

New layout
There is a challenge up on the Creative Cookbooking blog. You are to scrap a receipt. Here is my take on the challenge. My husband and I and a receipt from a recent shopping trip he did at WalMart. By the way, I hate the fact that people purchase food and it gets checked out at the same registers used for everything else! If I buy baby toys, greeting cards, notebooks, magazines, etc. - I don't want them to be covered with meat juices!

Welcome!!
Welcome to my blog and the Re-purpose with Love Valentine Blog Hop! I've done three layouts which use packaging from various items.
My first page is called Love. The birdcage is from K & Company. I layered it over a Valentine transparency from ArtChix and then added lace to the bottom. The word "Perfect" at the top is from a flyer I picked up at a restaurant. The flowers are punched from Kleenex boxes and a purple flowered bag from a card shop purchase. The word love is cut with my Revolution from a Making Memories package, the journaling is done on a Making Memories package piece and there is Prima packaging behind the picture.
My second layout is called Fun in the Snow. The snowman is packaging and had ribbon wrapped around him. He was just too cute to throw away! I punched the purple snowflakes from a paper bag I got when I purchased something at a card shop. The pink Life is Good circle is from a tag on a shirt. The words, Fun in the Snow, were cut from a plastic spoon box, using my Revolution tool. I like the sort of leathery look they have.
My last page is called Minnie & Megan. It uses Chatterbox packaging. I kept the words Chatterbox (it went with my journaling) and Fabulous. I punched a scalloped circle from K & Company packaging & used it to cover the words "chipboard letters" at the top. The red Mickey head is from a paint chip - they come in all colors and are still able to be picked up in paint depts.
Please leave a comment on this post. I will be drawing for two RAKs on Monday. Each prize will be a box of rub-ons, flowers, stickers, bling, clear stamps.... and more!
