SPCC color challenge #3
The challenge this week was to use lilac, green and chocolate chip. My card is lilac and green, the ribbon is lilac and the bird is chocolate chip.
I also made a gift container. I used green and lilac scrapbook paper and fit it inside a medium-sized paint can (from the craft store). Then I cut a flower from the paper, inked it with chocolate chip ink, punched a hole and tied it to the handle with chocolate chip ribbon (to use as a gift tag). I cut a circle from the paper and covered the top of the lid.

Busy
Today was a busy day, but aren't they all?!
My sister & I finished packing up my classroom and then we ate lunch with my sister-in-law. After lunch, the three of us went to a store downtown that sells country furniture, accessories, etc. No one bought anything, but it was fun looking.
I finished a scrapbook page, went for a walk and am now ready to sit and read until Closer comes on.

Good day
Today my sister, my daughter and I went to a crop at Archiver's. We had such a good day!
Before the crop, we all met my niece at Bruegger's Bagels and had lunch there. They have the best paninis and hazelnut coffee.
Then we went on to Archiver's, which is in the same plaza. I only got one page done, but helped my daughter, shopped, ate and visited.

Buttons from Burton
Today my sister and I went antiquing at the Burton flea market. 300 dealers, held twice a year. It was a beautiful day - hot, but with a breeze. It's held around the race track at the fairgrounds. We did a lot of walking and made it all the way around.
I bought mother of pearl, depression glass, and china buttons. I collect buttons and was thrilled to find this dealer.
She had boxes of buttons of all kinds. We also bought cabinet cards to alter.
