Two ATC's
2 artist trading cards I made, using a Tim Holtz stamp for the background. One has an ArtChix transparency and German scrap. The other has an image (from European Papers) and 7 Gypsies rub-on words.

Birthday
Today was my husband's birthday, so we went out for dinner to O'Charlie's. Our food was good, although this is not my favorite restaurant. But since it was his day, I let him pick the place! Didn't get any scrapbooking done tonight, though.
Tomorrow night I need to pack - my sister and I are going to a crop this week-end! I'm really looking forward to it...

New Stuff!
Well, no slicing got done this week-end, but I did get some scrapbooking goodies! My sister and I went to Butler, PA, to a large store. We have no LSS and this is really quite a drive, but we had fun and it was good weather Sat. - no rain or snow to drive in. Unfortunately, we got lost going and coming home! Going, we were talking so much that we missed the exit; not sure what happened coming home, but we missed our exit and almost ended up at Lake Erie! That mistake cost us an additional hour of driving.
The picture shows just a few of my purchases! I'm in an Easter/spring mood. I liked the light colors and the bunnies!

Pittsburgh
Our trip to Pittsburgh, PA, included a shrine making class from Linda & Opie O'Brien, a stay at the Priory and the best coffee ever! I am a java junkie and just love to find good coffee wherever we go. The shrine making class was taught at the Center for Contemporary Craft, in the Strip District. There was a little coffee shop across the street where we had lunch both days.
The sandwiches there were good, too!
The Priory is a restored monastery. Very charming, but no elevator and our room was on the third floor!

Pictures from Valley Ridge
Here are some pictures taken when we were at the Lynne Perrella workshop in Wisconsin. It's such a beautiful place!
I went with my sister, Eleanor. She is my crafting partner and best friend! We went to a lot of workshops last year - I will post pictures from them soon.
Top picture - me in the studio
2nd picture - Eleanor on her way to the studio, past the barn.
3rd picture - Inside the studio
4th picture - Lynne Perrella (seated) and some of the workshop participants watching her demonstrate
5th picture - view of the barn from inside the farmhouse

Color
This is a picture of my new oil pastels by Portfolio. They go on like butter - so smooth and creamy. And just yummy to work with! They can be found at Staples and don't cost very much. Love them!
The picture above them is a page from a book I did at a workshop. The workshop was in Wisconsin, at Valley Ridge Art Studio, and was taught by Lynne Perrella. That is where I learned about the oil pastels.
